OUR MANDATE |
|
The Laguna
Lake Development Authority was established in 1966 as a
quasi-government agency that leads, promotes, and
accelerates sustainable development in the Laguna de Bay
Region. Regulatory and law-enforcement functions are carried
out with provisions on environmental management,
particularly on water quality monitoring, conservation of
natural resources, and community-based natural resource
management.

CLOSES DOWN POLLUTIVE MCDONALD’S AND KING SUE FACILITIES

The
Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) headed by its
General Manager and Presidential Adviser for
Environmental Protection, Secretary Neric Acosta, issued
a Cease and Desist Order (CDO) to McDonald’s Frontera
Verde, Pasig branch and to King Sue Ham and Sausage Co.,
Inc. after the two establishments have continuously
discharged wastewater without conforming to the approved
effluent standards set by law.
