CONFIRMING THE ALLOCATION OF FISHPEN FEES PER MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2004-01 DATED DECEMBER 22, 2003 WHEREAS, the
fishpen fees which goes to the lakeshore local governments, a
modified sharing from 20% per Section 3 of Executive Order No. 927
dated December 16, 1983 to 35% which was implemented through
Resolution No. 15, Series of 1996 effective July 1, 1996 and
Resolution No. 88, Series of 1998 dated December 17, 1998 (Inclusion
of Calauan, Laguna) was allocated in the following manner: 20%- proportionately only to the lakeshore local governments with fishpen
areas established in their municipal boundaries 15%- equally to all the twenty-nine (29) lakeshore local governments
notwithstanding the existence of fishpens in their municipal
boundaries WHEREAS,
on
December 22, 2003, Memorandum Circular No. 2004-01 was issued in
order to achieve a more meanigful implementation of the sharing
scheme and to have an equitable sharing among the different
barangays of the respective municipalities to wit: 50% of the 15%
share allocated to lakeshore municipalities shall be equally
distributed among its member barangays to be used primarily for the
same purposes as stated in Memorandum Circular No. 7-2000. NOW,
THEREFORE, foregoing
premises considered, BE
IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED,
to confirm the sharing of fishpen fees as stated in Memorandum
Circular No. 2004-01. APPROVED
