|
The Laguna
Lake Development Authority was established in 1966 as a
quasi-government agency that leads, promotes, and
accelerates sustainable development in the Laguna de Bay
Region. Regulatory and law-enforcement functions are carried
out with provisions on environmental management,
particularly on water quality monitoring, conservation of
natural resources, and community-based natural resource
management.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
|
|
The
Environmental Management Program is focused on the formulation,
improvement and implementation of developmental and regulatory
programs for the Laguna de Bay region that would address water
quality and environmental degradation issues, resource
utilization and allocation and policy measures for environmental
protection.
Strategies of this program include collection and analysis of
water samples of Laguna Lake and its tributaries including the
Seven Crater Lakes.
