Kalinga sa Engkantadang Lawa: Tadlac Lake Nature Park at Tadlac Lake, Brgy. Tadlac, Los

April 29, 2015 – The Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) and the Office of the Presidential Adviser for Environmental Protection (OPAEP) join the Alay sa Kalikasan at Kalinga sa Engkantadang Lawa: Tadlac Lake Nature Park at Tadlac Lake, Brgy. Tadlac, Los Baños, Laguna.

In cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Los Baños led by Mayor Caesar P. Perez, together with Tanggol Kalikasan, Municipal Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Management Council (MFARMC), the event serves as the launching of Tadlac Lake Nature Park as the next ecotourism destination that will feature potential ecotourism activities such as: bird watching, boating, camping, game fishing, and a zip line. The project aims to provide a new source of livelihood for the community and residents of Brgy. Tadlac.

“LLDA is the prime authority that will lead and connect all sectors. Kapuri-puri ang Los Baños at Laguna Province dahil ang Tadlac Ecopark ay isang mabuting ehemplo ng pagsusulong ng sustainable development. We must protect the ecology of Tadlac Lake for it to be truly an ecotourism destination. That's why the word is ecotourism because before we can have tourism, first, we must protect its ecology. " shares Sec. Neric Acosta.

More popularly known as Alligator Lake, Tadlac Lake is a freshwater crater lake which is one of the 8 crater watersheds of Laguna Lake.
