Department
of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)
As
provided for under Section 4 of E.O. 192, the DENR is mandated to be
the primary government agency responsible for the conservation,
management, development and proper use of the country’s
environment and natural resources, including those in reservations,
watershed areas and lands of the public domain, as well as the
licensing and regulation of all natural resources utilization as may
be provided by law in order to ensure equitable sharing of the
benefits derived there from for the welfare of the present and future
generations of Filipinos. |

The
National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA)
Serves
as the central mapping and resource information agency of the
Philippines. It provides geographic and resource information through
its surveying, land classification, remote sensing, mapping, and
information management and dissemination services to both government
and private sectors.

Research and Development Bureau (ERDB)
To
provide relevant technology and information through research towards
sustainability and enhanced productivity of the natural resources
and protection of the environment, for the improvement of the
quality of life of the Filipino people.

Management Bureau (EMB)
EMB's
Environmental Education Section Undertakes
programs that will strategically inculcate awareness, understanding,
as well as promote skills, positive attitudes, commitments, and
active participation of the environment, through the integration of
environmental concerns in the school system at all levels,
government and private sectors |
