LLDA MANDATE

The Laguna Lake Development Authority was established in 1966 as a quasi-government agency that leads, promotes, and accelerates sustainable development in the Laguna de Bay Region. Regulatory and law-enforcement functions are carried out with provisions on environmental management, particularly on water quality monitoring, conservation of natural resources, and community-based natural resource management.

Antipolo Material Recovery Facility with Composting

The objectives of the project are a) to improve the quality of life of the people through the provision of solid waste management infrastructure and services and b) to develop the capability of the City to assume responsibility for the provision, management and maintenance of infrastructure and services like the MRF. This sub-project comprises of two components: composting facilities and segregation facilities.
