The Laguna
Lake Development Authority was established in 1966 as a
quasi-government agency that leads, promotes, and
accelerates sustainable development in the Laguna de Bay
Region. Regulatory and law-enforcement functions are carried
out with provisions on environmental management,
particularly on water quality monitoring, conservation of
natural resources, and community-based natural resource
management.

It aims
to ensure that the Municipality complies
with the Solid Waste Management Act. It
entails construction of MRF and composting
building allocated for material recovery,
composting, hollow block/pavement production
and temporary storage of facilities for
unprocessed residuals and hazardous wastes
and acquisition of equipments particularly
1-ton DOST Bioreactor necessary for
efficient and effective operations of the
project.
